The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) has reevaluated a 2023 request from Mayor Smith regarding the installation of bus shelters in the Village of North Randall. As a result of increased ridership, several bus stops now meet GCRTA’s requirements for shelter installation and maintenance.
The following locations have been approved for new bus shelters:
- North Miles Road & Northfield Road
- 20811 Emery Road
- Warrensville Center Road & Emery Road
GCRTA plans to move forward with installing these shelters when weather conditions permit. There will be no cost to the Village of North Randall, as GCRTA will fully cover the installation and maintenance expenses.
All shelters will be installed within the public right-of-way (ROW). The Village will continue to share updates as more information becomes available regarding installation timelines.
