The Village of North Randall welcomed community leaders and local partners to Amazon Prime Air’s Community Meet-and-Greet on July 9 for an inside look at the company’s upcoming drone delivery service.

Guests had the opportunity to see the new MK30 delivery drone up close, meet members of the Prime Air team, and learn how the technology will soon deliver eligible purchases to customers within minutes. Amazon expects to begin drone deliveries later this year for customers located within approximately 7.5 miles of its North Randall fulfillment center.

The event offered an exciting look at how innovation continues to shape the future of commerce in North Randall and across Northeast Ohio. The arrival of drone delivery technology reflects the Village’s growing role as a home for new investment, advanced technology, and business development.
