Courtney Barnes started working at the Village when she was 17 years old as a summer intern in the Mayor’s office. During her time as an intern, she learned to operate the court and was eventually promoted to the position of court clerk. For 8 years she has been dedicated to working for the Village.

Most recently, December 2020, Barnes graduated from Cleveland State University with a major in Communication Studies. Her degree created a new opportunity for the Village of North Randall. Since then, Barnes has gained the title of Communications Manager. With this new position, she plans to advance the Village’s respond and communication with people. Her goal is to help the Village reach not only its residents, but its current and potential visitors through social media.

“I believe the city has the potential to reach new heights,” said Barnes, “and I want the community to feel involved in our journey towards success!”
